After the successful installation of the new color feeder,
we have experienced
Several improvements in our quality and throughput as a result of the system.
We had change to this system from the liquid color system and the results are
unbelievable
For example:

Our scrap rates have decreased by 10% due to the consistency in the flow of
the color.

Downtime due to lack of color has been eliminated.

We have also decreased the variance in batch sizes.
-
The accuracy of the COLORSAVE 1000 perfect.
-
We saved 33% on color usage and 20% in cost for the total amount of concentrate
color being used verses the liquid colorant.

This system is very stable and requires minimal material handling.
-
The system’s simplicity has allowed us to decentralize its maintenance.
The Payback on the Investment in our plant is 4 month.
Overall, we have been very pleased with the COLORSAVE 1000
and would recommend it to any manufacturing facility. The overall
improvement in material flow has
been remarkable.

for solving one of our production problems and creating a solution

Plasson Ltd. is a leading Israeli company, which produces injection
moulded plastic products and markets worldwide.
I am the Plastic Technologist – Head of Injection Department
of the factory in Israel.
During K-98 exhibition I spent many hours looking for a gravimetric
color feeding solution that will supply our special needs: Mobile,
easy to use and relatively small, for some of our molding machines,
especially the ones where we use 10 Grams and more in each batch.
Unfortunately, there were only volumetric solutions there.

ColorSave 1000 helps us a lot, and saves us money and time! 6 months ago you and one of your engineers came to my factory
and claimed that you have a gravimetric solution for color
feeding. We have in our factory 24 molding injection machines,
and it was clear to me that if your solution works, it would
help us a lot.
I was more than surprised to see that your weighing system
is accurate, and therefore very helpful.
Not only that it saves us money, it also saves us time because
we do not need to waste 20-30 minutes on calibration each time
we “move” from color to color.

I am pleased to inform you about the significant improvements
in the production and product quality as well as the significant
cost savings, that we are facing since we have introduced
the ColorSave 1000 equipped with the new micro-dosing feature
into our plant.
The lack of an accurate dosing equipment in the past, capable
of handling minute quantities of masterbatch, similar to
the ColorSave 1000, forced us to employ a costly manual mixing
of the virgin material and the masterbatch specially when
considering the restrictions of our raw materials conveying
systems and the "tied" manufacturing and operating
procedures related to manufacturing of medical devices in
a clean room atmosphere.
I am also pleased to inform you that ColorSave
1000 had successfully
passed all the monthly routine dosing tests that applied by
our QA department during over a year.
As you know, this new configuration has proved so successful
