PelletSave™ - Advanced Central Dosing System 
The PelletSave is a highly advanced and cost-effective central dosing system for multi-ingredient combinations of raw materials for plastic plants.

By means of a unique designated central mechanical dosing structure, combined with sophisticated control software, PelletSave is able to prepare the required weighed batch and to convey it separately to each of the plant's processing machine, according to each specific job requirement.

System Features and Advantages
  • A total solution for the dosing and mixing of main materials, easily adapted to any plant, either injection-molding or extrusion, big or small, for any number of ingredients and processing machines.

  • Significant saving in initial installation costs, when compared to existing conventional central or local dosing/mixing systems.
  • No limit to the number of ingredients in each mixture, or the number of consumers (final data should be supplied when ordering the system).
  • High dosing accuracy and good blending (equivalent to that of conventional batch-blender), yet less expensive and more convenient for operation.
  • Sophisticated software controls the formulation, mixture preparation and designation.
  • No need for manual interference (opening/closing valves, changing hoses, cleaning residues of previous mixture etc.) when switching to new job with different mixture composite.
  • Easy and reliable central data collection as regard to the total consumed and wasted materials for each processing machine and specific job.
  • Mechanically simple and robust, with few moving parts compared to conventional systems (central or local).
  • The combination with and allows management monitoring of the dosing systems, cutting Masterbatch (additives) costs as well as collecting, reporting, processing, analyzing, scheduling, and displaying real-time information.
 
General Configuration


The system is composed of the following sub-systems (see schematic system's layout):

  1. Raw materials intermediate bins (One for each anticipated ingredient) - these bins are automatically fed from raw materials storage silos by means of vacuum conveying system and loaders (supplied either by the customer or LIAD)
  2. Central weighing, dosing and blending unit - prepares the required mixed batch for each specific machine and job.
  3. Designation unit and mixed materials buffer bins - a conveyor conveys the prepared mixture from the mixing chamber into the required buffer bins, one for each processing machine (Injection or extrusion), from which the mixture is conveyed to the machine itself by means of vacuum conveying system and loaders (supplied either by the customer or LIAD).
  4. Central controller – controls the complete system operation, as well as collecting the data concerning the consumed materials and jobs.
