Gravimetric Feeder Masterbatch Dosing Plastic Processing Industry

About Us

LIAD (Leader In Advanced Dosing) is a private electronics company that specializes in developing, manufacturing, and marketing dosing solutions for the plastic industry. With the recent introduction of the ColorSave gravimetric feeder, which optimizes masterbatch dosing on the processing machine throat, LIAD is taking a leading position in the market. LIAD’s customers include some of the world’s leading plastics manufacturers.

Established in 1978, LIAD has thirty employees - including electronics, mechanical, and computer engineers and technicians - who form a cohesive team of professionals with technological and practical expertise accumulated over many years. The company has registered a number of patents in the field of dosing.

ColorSave Technology
Starting with the ColorSave 1000 for injection molding machines, LIAD has successfully developed and marketed a series of gravimetric masterbatch feeders based on its proprietary ColorSave technology. Offering a much-needed solution to the plastics industry, this innovative technology ensures precise, timely masterbatch dosing at the feed throat of the plastic processing machine using a loss-in-weight method - increasing accuracy, homogeneity, and efficiency while significantly reducing costs and wastage. The ColorSave feeding systems integrate PC software developed by LIAD to remotely control and monitor multiple ColorSave units from a central PC and to analyze the collected data from each unit.

Following the success of the ColorSave 1000 injection molding version, LIAD launched an additional product for the plastic industry – the ColorSave 1000 XT, a continuous gravimetric masterbatch feeder for extrusion machines.
The ColorSave 1000 XT has the same structure as the ColorSave 1000, but is equipped with different software. This feeder is accurate and effective in saving masterbatch yet inexpensive, making it more attractive than any other continuous gravimetric masterbatch feeder in the market today.

LIAD has recently added multi-channel ColorSave systems, both for injection molding and for extrusion, to the ColorSave series.

Since its introduction to the plastics industry, the ColorSave series of gravimetric blenders and dosing systems has become the choice of high quality plastics manufacturers.

LIAD is seeking additional suitable distributors in various countries and also strategic partners for joint activities all over the world.
